THE JERUSALEM POST - April 11, 2012. US Ambassador, Dan Shapiro volunteered recently with Leket Israel picking vegetables for the needy. Shapiro is one of more than 40,000 annual volunteers who support Leket Israel's work. Leket Israel works with hundreds of nonprofit organizations caring for the needy and providing food and nutritional support for more than 60,000 people on a daily basis.
